Why re-upholster my furniture instead of buying new?
Recycle: You have the opportunity to recycle perfectly good furniture. Keeping furniture out of landfills should be reason enough.
Restyle: Restyling the furniture to your taste is easy when you re-upholster. It’s all in the details!
Value: It is less expensive to re-upholster good quality furniture than it is to buy QUALITY new furniture.
Fabric Selection: Our showroom houses thousand upon thousands of fabric samples.
Antiques & Sentimental Furniture: Obviously these cannot be replaced. Re-upholstery is your best option.

Is my furniture worth re-upholstering?
Typically older furniture is better quality than the new disposable stuff made today. Furniture with a hardwood frame and coil springs are what we are looking for. As long as the foundation (frame) is solid, we can restore the rest.

How do I start the process of having my furniture re-upholstered?
Most clients email us a photo of their furniture. We reply promptly with an estimate. The next step is to come into the showroom to browse our fabric samples. They can be taken home to coordinate with rugs, paint, etc. Let us know what you have chosen, and then we can schedule to pick-up or simply bring in the furniture.

Do you work with C.O.M. (Customer’s Own Material)?
In short, no. We have a full fabric showroom housing all the major brands and many boutique lines. We also have in-stock fabrics from which to choose. All fabrics are discounted so prices are very competitive. Some exceptions can be made so it’s best to talk to us.

Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
Yes. Due to Covid-19, appointments are needed.
Showroom hours are Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00, and Saturday (appointment only).

Do you have anyone there that can help me select fabric?
Yes. If you are not sure about style and color, then don’t worry. We are here to help.

Can I take home fabric samples?
Absolutely. It’s best to take them home to see how they coordinate with your room(s).

How long does the re-upholstery process take?
Usually 3-6 weeks upon furniture pick-up.

My sofa is in great shape but the cushions are too soft. Can you just replace the foam?
Yes. We use only the best foam in all our upholstery. You can choose from our samples (soft, soft-medium, medium, firm, extra firm). Bring in your cushions and get the foam replaced in a day or two.

Do you pick-up and deliver?
Pick-up and delivery are available. Fees vary by town. West Hartford and surrounding towns start at $75.
